A comedian? So you are supposed to be funny?
My sticky notes from Dom Joly's The Hezbollah Hiking Club:
On foreboding:
"Jacky, why is it called the valley of the skulls?" Chris asked.
On the comedian problem:
"I'm a writer, but my main job is as a comedian"
"A comedian? So you are supposed to be funny?" She looked at my with an expression that indicated that this had not been the case so far.
"I'm not a stand-up comedian. I don't tell jokes."
"So, you are not a funny comedian," Jacky smiled.
"Many would agree with you there," interjected Chris, who had perked up somewhat.
